but i'm saying none of his good seasons were 5 mil seasons, aside from one. one career year at 28 which may have been a 5 mil season.

i think to throw that kind of money at him in free agency is a horrible idea. the majority of players go to free agency to land ridiculous career contracts. theres no free agent this year who reminds of that vast majority of contracts that are horrible signed in free agency like the one he's going to get.

we're talking about a guy who's one good season 'might' be worth 5 mil, the rest of which weren't worth anymore than brandon prusts 2.4 in my opinion.

That whole exchange is absurd. Bozak is great because he's used so much by Carlyle , but that same logic does not apply to Gardiner. Picking and choosing what you want to see. Much like his skills and deficiencies. Also deciding what you want to believe about the stats.
