Three years at 4.5 is OK for him. The cap goes up next year, so he may be a bargain. He has some grit to his game, so he's not one dimensional.

that i won't disagree with. it's an extra year, and an extra 500k on what i think he's worth... but he's an unrestricted free agent.

i'm willing to bet on him getting 5+.. maybe towards 6, over at least 5 years.. which will be a disgusting overpayment, and highly regrettable within 2-3 years.

They are doing the right thing. Drafting for future need. By the time Gauthier is ready, it should be near the end of Bolland. We already have Rielly in the pipeline and a year from now, we'll be talking about him making the big team. With Finn, Percy and Blacker developing, we have some good 2nd tier defensemen, to go with our blue chip prospect Rielly. I only wish that we had a few more offensive forward prospects coming through the system, but that may come, in time. It wouldn't hurt to add a goaltending prospect, maybe next year.

I think Nonis is going to surprise us. He's holding the Grabovski card close to his vest, until he has a legit, or close to legit number one in the fold. Then he may move him. It's possible that he keeps some of the salary, to make other teams interested. Liles needs a new home too......same deal!

For a guy who absolutely hated Stajan, I'm really surprised you're so solidly tucked away into the Bozak is awesome camp. If Bozak will stick for 3.5M, then sure, keep him here man, I'm by no means a Bozak hater.

For 3.5, yes! Keep him and use him as a third or fourth line center. There's no reason that Bolland can't play on the 4th line and given 3rd line minutes, similar to what Boston does, with their 3rd and 4th lines.

Sure, I'll take Clarkson, for about 4.5 million a year. He gets his nose dirty and doesn't mind going to the blue paint. We need more forwards like him. It completes two solid top 6 lines, if we get a decent number 1 center. Our third line could be one hell of a third line, if we start moving some of the middling talent downwards.....Kulimen?
