You're arguing on the side of popular opinion. Truth is, Feaster himself said Jankowski was a project. To judge that kid and the scouting staff at this stage is pointless and in a way, arogant either way you argue it. Give it a couple of years.

seiloff,baertschi, gillies, guadreau, brossoit show that the drafting has improved. Some nice picks deeper in the draft.

I do believe that the flames were one of the teams with the most jr's in the worlds last year. Thats a pretty good sign.

I think wotherspoon is going to be a gio 2.0 as well.

The scouting argument began to run thin last year, you might as well just add the flames are old to your comments now.

Calgary started drafting better 2 years ago. Montreal does draft fairly well.. but I don't know about your first round pick this year. Thats a really big dum dum you drafted. His interview was like talking to a 12 year old. Time will tell with him as well I suppose.

where are they at with backland and brodie?

I think the only other names in rfa they'd keep might be cundari. maybe....butler if nothings out there.

Otherwise I think they are just filling abbortsford with the rest. Bouma and Breen maybe would take a peak at a few games.
