It's not really Cap circumvention. Nashville will still be responsible for the Cap hit. The problem as I see it is that 3M will be counted towards the players share, with no actual money going to a player. The NHLPA isn't going to like that.

I'm not sure what the official term would be, but it does come out of the player's share of the revenue. It just makes me wonder about the financial stability of the franchise which has been a question for some time. The new CBA did not do much to help an organization like the Preds.

Solid stuff here. We are fans though. Why would we be here if there's no arguing, some female doging, arm chair gming, so on and so on.

It was much better times in here when all we had to worry about was zherdev scurrying away from practice in a limo with a pink shirt.

Things will more than likely get better

can't stand these horrible times where we're choosing 17 and 18 year olds to play for the team. so depressing.

Any team that can afford to pay a single player 13 mill/yr for several years shouldn't be able to complain about being poor nor should they receive revenue sharing.

trade Coby for a decent return or send a 2nd rndr w/ Mez to a floor team as a straight salary dump?
- isaiah520

I don't think Flyers would have to include anything nearly that high to get another team to take Meszaros for one year at his $4M salary. Philly just won't get squat in return.

They didn't have much choice in the matter. And each team get's to spend 64.3M anyway they see fit. So I don't know how one player's salary, should dictate that they shouldn't receive revenue sharing.

I want no part of thomas. He and this media together would be a poop show, even worse than Bryz and Media.

Rather have Nabakov.

Coby not safe by a long shot
- isaiah520

Glad holmer held strong. Don't want a collection of picks for coburn. He's worth a 1st rounder. If Edmonton wants to pony up next years first, then we're talking. Meanwhile let them stew and here it from the fan base while they strike out on UFA after UFA

You didn't mention that HOMER IS A MORIN, and he received an F triple minus as a draft grade.

And if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle.

EDIT:

I would like to bring him in. Up to 4 years.

Here's your 2/3 lines

schenn-lecavalier-read
Talbot-cooter-simmonds

Pretty sweet. Has offensive/defensive elements on both lines. Time to turn schenn into Dustin brown

Breaking in Laughton easy with 4th line center duties?

4th line center.

Maybe bring a veteran like kobasew to help the pk and 4th line defensively. Craig Adams another option

4th line is a good spot for him right now. He's got the energy. Him + McGinn + Z1 would make a real good energy line with alittle bit of D, alittle bit of scoring, and alittle bit of rowdiness.
