To be honest I would hope Thomas comes here next season. Maybe he can put some of these Jack ass media heads in place..you can't argue with a cup vezina and con smythe winner. I wanted Thomas back as far as 2009

If that's the aftermath they should just say no to him.
- Yosimar89

I personally think it will only result in BSchenn switching to wing. Using rough guesstimations, I figure we'll need in the area of $10 mil to resign G, BSchenn, Coots, and Read. We should get that next season with Timonen coming off the books and the cap going back up. I think we'd be alright. My only concern would by the time Coots gets on the 3rd line. It'd be better than the time he gets on the 4th line, but still. I'd be happy if the time breakdown worked kind of like:
1st line: 20 mins/game avg
2nd line: 17 mins/game avg
3rd line: 15 mins/game avg
4th line: 8 mins/game avg
So pretty much as long as Coots is getting good time I'm content.

Same babies crying about Giroux.... I like what I see from morin. At first I was like what. The more I read and the more educated I get about him the more I like him.

Was there whining about him? I don't remember

Flyers trade Syvret for Kris Newbury

- Jsaquella

So that's like what the 3rd time Syrvet's been traded by the Flyers? Haha he's also got a Winter Classic goal.

That is fine. I'm entitled to my opinion, and a 33 overall pick is a little difference then an 11 overall pick, even more so in a deep draft.

I have my opinions and I stick by them.... Hated Hartnell, wanted to trade him... I was wrong about that. Said the Flyers would use the Buy-Out on Briere after the NJ series and I was right about that. I'm entitled to my opinion and to voice it here too. I find it funny that the people saying stuff about being negative are the same ones moaning about Bryzgalov's contract or Bob being traded. What happened there, I thought the Flyers knew better then you....

When the Flyers make a mistake, I will call them for it. I will also defend moves that I like even if you dont. I think Morin is going to be a fine defenseman, I just dont think he was the right defenseman at that pick. And I will be vocal about saying that. And its not as if I am alone in scratching my head at the Flyers choice here.

- youarewrong

maybe he will and maybe he won't. its just way too early to really judge. I look at 2006. I wonder how many people were upset about G being drafted. too small, etc etc. Looking back now, he probably goes top 3

Why are people stoked on Vincent Lecavalier? He's not the same unflappable, powerfully fast and scary kid that was a force to be reckoned with every time the puck was on his stick like in the summer of 2004. Last time I checked MSL and Stamkos were the ones at least scoring regularly in Tampa.

I dont like PHI's pick. If he was 6'2 he'd have gone 4th round

should have gone for nikita

I was just informed while watching Nats vs. Brewers that today was Canada day?

Happy Canada day to all those Flyers fans in the great white north.

Re-signing Giroux and Read alone is going to cost 10M or more.
