I think you are right back to where you with Danny. Too many wingers. I see Laughton making the team this year. Now you have G, Schenn, Cooter, Laught, Vinnie. Shcenn can play wing but is more comfortable in the C position. If we sogn Vinny, one of the younger 3 are getting moved.

I think BSchenn is actually more comfortable at wing.

The rumor I have read says he is looking for a one year deal at $5M. Supposedly he wants to go back to TB after one year. Not sure how true that is though.

Dreger & LeBrun said last night it could take between 3 & 5 years to get him.

you could possibly be right, it just seems that most of his good games and productive nights he was centering Simmonds and read(after V moved up)

The Flyers don't have to trade for him if they want to sign him he is a free agent starting Friday.

Well that's 4, I definately think if we sign him that long Cooter is all but gone for a dman with Coburn.

I want no part of thomas. He and this media together would be a poop show, even worse than Bryz and Media.

Rather have Nabakov.

If that's the aftermath they should just say no to him.

Maybe his year of solitude has helped him out. I'd be fine with him in net. My only two concerns are how much will we have pay pay him? and will he be able to get in form after not playing hockey for a year? Other than that, he can say whatever he wants as long as it isn't a locker room distraction.

No one said he couldn't speak his mind, but there's a difference in saying "yeah, I don't know a damn thing about setting up a draft board, and no, I'm not a professional scout, but damn it, I'm going to hold the Flyers accountable when they make a pick I don't agree with."

That makes no sense. Screaming at the top of your lungs that "Ryan Pulock is better than Samuel Morin" ON THE DAY THEY'RE DRAFTED has absolutely NO BASIS IN TRUTH WHATSOEVER.

Informed opinion is fine. Droning on and on about what you think the Flyers should've done -- and they're WRONG WRONG WRONG because they didn't do what you wanted them to -- is patently absurd.

amen

an opinion is one thing. the incessant wailing and gnashing of teeth over nothing more than a few words on a page is (frank)ing irritating

To be honest I would hope Thomas comes here next season. Maybe he can put some of these Jack ass media heads in place..you can't argue with a cup vezina and con smythe winner. I wanted Thomas back as far as 2009
