I have zero confidence that Lecavalier picks the Flyers.

Don't forget Jagr wasn't even a remote rumor to come to Philly either ...

Another fighter. Not that it matters but what is the obsession with getting enforcers?

Big kid who can score a little at the AHL level. It's strictly a minor league move.

That is fine. I'm entitled to my opinion, and a 33 overall pick is a little difference then an 11 overall pick, even more so in a deep draft.

I have my opinions and I stick by them.... Hated Hartnell, wanted to trade him... I was wrong about that. Said the Flyers would use the Buy-Out on Briere after the NJ series and I was right about that. I'm entitled to my opinion and to voice it here too. I find it funny that the people saying stuff about being negative are the same ones moaning about Bryzgalov's contract or Bob being traded. What happened there, I thought the Flyers knew better then you....

When the Flyers make a mistake, I will call them for it. I will also defend moves that I like even if you dont. I think Morin is going to be a fine defenseman, I just dont think he was the right defenseman at that pick. And I will be vocal about saying that. And its not as if I am alone in scratching my head at the Flyers choice here.

Huge difference between forming an opinion on a player you watch play in an NHL Season, versus forming an opinion on an 18 year old kid the Flyers drafted. When you really don't know much about him.

Yep, 64 points in 65 games in the AHL last year and 61 in 69 the year before

Phantoms lacked offense last year. It helps to have some good veterans to make the team better.

I won't lie.

I'm...curious...about Vincent Lecavalier. I'm sorry. I can't help it.

But to me, he's kinda gotten the short straw down in Tampa with rotating wingers. Maybe gotten slightly lost in the Steven Stamkos era.

I'm not saying you break the bank for him.

But, well...maybe you bend the bank a little if he wants to come.

I give him a lot of respect. The guys seems to be traded year after year and continues to just play hockey. Never hear about him being a bad teammate/guy.

I think you are right back to where you with Danny. Too many wingers. I see Laughton making the team this year. Now you have G, Schenn, Cooter, Laught, Vinnie. Shcenn can play wing but is more comfortable in the C position. If we sogn Vinny, one of the younger 3 are getting moved.

No one said he couldn't speak his mind, but there's a difference in saying "yeah, I don't know a damn thing about setting up a draft board, and no, I'm not a professional scout, but damn it, I'm going to hold the Flyers accountable when they make a pick I don't agree with."

That makes no sense. Screaming at the top of your lungs that "Ryan Pulock is better than Samuel Morin" ON THE DAY THEY'RE DRAFTED has absolutely NO BASIS IN TRUTH WHATSOEVER.

Informed opinion is fine. Droning on and on about what you think the Flyers should've done -- and they're WRONG WRONG WRONG because they didn't do what you wanted them to -- is patently absurd.

He brings size and makes us better at the dot. He's still a decent age and still has pretty good production going for him. I like the match up of Giroux and Lecavalier to Crosby and Malkin.

I don't know enough about the prospects to make a decision one way or another. There is no telling who is going to pan out and who isn't. Just have to hope the player develops and improves his game over time.

You know...I can't even hazard a guess. The Flyers are a little farther away from title contention than maybe he'd prefer, so if I had to guess, I'd assume they aren't at the top of the list.

One thing's for sure: The Flyers wouldn't blink in making him the No. 2 center, without hesitation, and probably give him four or five years, to boot.

The rumor I have read says he is looking for a one year deal at $5M. Supposedly he wants to go back to TB after one year. Not sure how true that is though.
