I wouldn't mind Kovy being a 70 pt player if his +/- was 25+.
I don't think Ryan would have good chemistry with Kovalchuk since they're both puck carriers. Boucher would, cuz he seems to have a knack for finding open areas. But if Boucher plays with him, it'll be Henrique center. If Lokti plays with Kovy, we need a speedy winger for them, so it could very well be Tedenby.
But FA still has to come to pass. Looks like Elias is about to be locked up, so that means if we get two free agent wingers, Teddy's probably headed straight to the AHL. Our third line will end up being Zubrus, JJ, and Matteau/whoever makes the cut. I think JJ will be a permanent NJ Devil this season.

If Teddy can get some confidence back like he played with in his rookie year. He may be able to turn it around. Kid has a ton of skill just needs to fine tune his defensive game and get stronger on the puck. Easier said then done. |

trade the Swedish connection of tedenby/josefson and Larsson for ryan? sorry had to do it. actually with all these defenseman we could include Larsson in a ryan deal, and since everybody loves Larsson that could be about it in the deal, no need to include anything else? |
