Just to be clear, I think Schneider is a great building block, you have to replace Marty at some point & build from the net out.

I'm not down on Schneider, I just think they could've gotten a goalie somewhere else. Maybe if they had a sack to play Kinkaid last season instead of Moose when he was in a downward spiral we might have kept the pick & got Nichuskin ourselves.

But, it's all water under the bridge, now DeBoer will have to play Schneider given the price.

Ya, if Nichushkin becomes the next Malkin/Ovechkin than I might feel bad about this, I feel like he would have thrived with Kovy...

Like I sais, overall I like this. Schneider has been great in Vancouver, and it's not like they're super great defensively. I think he will thrive here.

As do I. I think PDB will just go with whoever has the hot hand. I expect Cory to get 50ish games though.
