Poor mans Hodor.

At least Hodor can say his name.

Shaddup. The guy was accepted to Harvard. So he struggles with English - big deal. Do you know French, smart guy?

Well then what do you give up for Yandle?
- ThePresident

The Yotes will want tooooooo much. Don't think we have anything to entice the Yotes anyways.

Are the Canuckle fans saying that trading Schneider is what they wanted all this time?
- TML4Life85

It's what Gillis is saying.

Would make one hell of a top 6/top 4.

JVR/Lecavalier/Kessel
Lupul/Kadri/Iginla

Phaneuf/Yandle
Franson/Gardiner

Just have to come up with what we'd give up for Yandle. Perhaps a prospect or 2 along with some picks.

- ThePresident

And get the salary cap doubled

Good for you. You should know what it's like to learn a 2nd language, then. Cut the guy some slack.

Hello fellow Leafs Fans, just wanted to drop by here and say that I hate you guys for snagging Gauthier earlier today. He was the guy I wanted for the Habs.

I actually had y'all picking him in my mock draft, I knew you guys couldn't let him slip through, the leafs actually have good scouts.

He's a very smart player, probably the best defensive forward in the draft, and he has lots of room to grow offensively. He started the year on a tear and could very-well have ended with more points than Zykov as the best rookie if he didn't get injured by receiving a slapper on the jaw by trying to block a shot. He had to eat through a straw for a week after that, and had trouble coming back in the same form as before the injury.

He had average playoffs, but was awesome at the U-18 in sotchi, especially in the final where he was the best canadian forward.

Lupul - Grabovski - Clarkson
Kulemin - Boland - McClement
Mclaren - Gordon - Orr/Hamilton

Phaneuf - Ference
Franson - Gardiner
Gunnarsson - Fraser/Liles

Have u seen the video of Gauthier? The guy is fukken huge!!! He's only 18 & still growing. He's already very responsible defensively, great at faceoffs. He's a good scorer & he's improving in that area. In the video, he towers over the other players.

Frattin and Scrivens suck, Bernier has the potential to be an allstar goaltender.
- ThePresident

Of course they suck. They aren't Leafs anymore.

i'm not. i think there are guys who have higher potential who were left on the board. i guess gauthier was the "safe" pick cause he will be more likely to be a 3rd line center, in comparison to shinkaruk/erne/zykov who all have top 6 potential but could be less likely to make it to the NHL

He's a good guy. I give him a hard time..ALL THE TIME, but he really does get balls deep into the draft. Don't let him know I said that though.

Yeah, he dwarfed all the scouts and Nonis and Carlyle on the stage when he got drafted (not to mention Bettman )
