Not sure if this was talked about but what does this trade for Bolland mean for Leafs pursuing Vinny???

Are they no longer pursuing? If they are, what happens to Grabonvski if they are able to sign Vinny?

I don't think it affects it. Bolland is brought in to a 3rd line (sometimes 2nd maybe) C.

Nonis said he's willing to go witht he C currently have but trying to shed salary (Grabo). He also said Bolland doesn't mean Bozak is out necessary.

Right, I didn't mean the Leafs getting Bolland doesn't mean they no longer need a 1C....I was getting more to the point that if Leafs do still pursue Vinny for 1C that pushes Kadri to 2C. With Bolland at 3C what happens to Grabovski?

For some reason, I don't see the Leafs buying out Grabo and who would ever take his contract in a trade?! To me it just has the feel of Leafs being resigned to going into next season with Kadri/Grabo/Bolland.

Lost in all this is, did we forget that Kadri is the 2nd line center. So I wonder how all this will work out with the Leaf centers b4 next fall. What we know as of June 30:

Leafs have centers, Grabbo, Kadri, Bolland & McClement going into next season.
Bozak is an RFA unsure if he'll be re-signed. Leafs have interest in Vinny although that's a very long shot at best. Would Bolland be happy as the Leafs 3rd line center, assuming the Leafs will have Bozak & or Grabbo back next season? It's all confusing. Still as of today, Leafs still don't have a true #1 center, even if they go into camp with Grabbo, Boll, Kad, Boz & McL.
