I am glad we didnt move Rielly or Gardiner..the only players I wanted were mackinnon or Barkov...and it looks like so did everyone else... so its wasnt happening.

With good depth at the position this season, one netminder we think was somewhat overlooked was Antoine Bibeau of PEI. This 1994 birthdate is a second year draft-eligible who is a classic case of a late bloomer who has the size and physical tools (quick feet, sharp glove) necessary to become a good prospect.

The club in front of him was collectively a highly mediocre bunch, but this kid is a mentally strong battler who gave them a chance to win almost every night. He shows very good anticipation and seems to always be thinking a step ahead of shooters and puck carriers alike. At 6-1, 210 pounds, he's one of the biggest goalies available this year, and shows pretty good athleticism for a thickly built guy. We also like his attitude and mental makeup.
