Vinny has sooooooooooooo many teams to choose from. Leaf Nation shouldn't hold their breath. Honestly I just don't see it happening. At this point in his career, he probably doesn't want or need the pressure of playing hockey in the media fishbowl of TO. Especially with the pressure of being a #1 center with the hockey mad fans in TO. I'm going to predict that Vinny will not choose Toronto. Obviously I'd love it if he came here but it won't happen.

I agree, it would be great to have him, but postng him on your personal next year lineup isn't exatly realistic. Not that there's ever are in the off season anyways.

I'd be looking at Weiss, Stastny, etc. Not that I particularly like either of them. Its just more realistic.
As well as Kadri getting a promotion.

Isles are stupid, Nino is a former 1st pick (5th). Serious over payment for Clutterback. Leafs couldn't get Clutterbuck cause we wouldn't be able to match the Isles offer. Kudos to Nonis for not overpaying on this one.

So what? injuries happen and giving him more time to develop is never a bad thing.

Be lucky to get a 2nd rounder for him so you may as well keep him. He played the last year and a half with a severe wrist injury that limited him from even taking a slap shot.
