If their asking for a top 4 dman and a 1st round pick then yes, Coburn and the 11 will land you #5. You think this is an underpayment but remember that they're trying to move down for immediate help and this is a buyers market. To them adding a top-4 man and still picking top 15 probably seems like a steal.

Idk what the point of reaching into the top 4 would do for us from #5. We're still picking one of Drouin, Barkov, or Nichushkin. I feel like the assets it would take to get there wouldn't be worth it.
