The main reason I had Schenn moving in that plan was, with Vinnie, you need to drop a player. Obviously they could drop Read. But a lot of what was in that proposal are things that they seem to be considering, including moving up.

I personally am ok with this and trading Read for pick too, or keeping him and not signing Gags:

While I wish the Flyers had never traded Bob, 6 mill/yr is just way to much to spend on a backup .

I'd love to have him on the team but the team should have hopefully learned from Bryz's boat anchor of a contract.
