to say nothing of the fact that he sells tickets, i think ud build around your hart trophy winner. not through him.
i think it's a huge longshot. - hugefemale dog77
Fortunately, the Oilers dont need him to sell tickets and Merch. That would (frank) up the plan in a very, very bad way. |

ud think anyways...
haven done the math, but now with horton gone, and not resigning ference. they cant be too desperate - hugefemale dog77
like i say, they have to re-sign rask and replace those guys with just under $6M in space.
capgeek doesn't list Savard's LTIR (don't get why he hasn't officially retired yet) and I'm never sure how that works but the consensus is they have cap trouble right now
they're also apparently on the verge of extending Bergeron for 8 years. |

He played RW in Boston, so depending on how Tampa wanted to utilize him they could play together. A PP unit with Stamkos on 1 side and Seguin on the other would be pretty lethal. - fudd1689
you are forgetting who is stamkos's RW lol. THE best RW in the game.

hhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahah you are nuts! 2 top 6 players and a top 4 dman for a 2nd line center? no way dude.
the most i would offer would be our 2nd rounder 33rd overall, connolly or purcell, and malone.
you can throw in krug too - boltsfan48
Right. Here's the thing: Seguin is *already* an established top 6 forward for a very, very good team at age 21, who's *already* scored 121 points in 203 games, and is only getting better.
Connolly, drafted in the same year, is statistically a top 9 player for a thoroughly mediocre team, who's scored a whopping 16 points in 73 games. He hasn't proven sh it. Gudas, meanwhile, has played all of 22 games in his career. He's proven even less than Connolly. And for all you know, that 3rd overall pick turns out to be Alexandr Svitov 2.0.
So, kudos on what's clearly a very thorough understanding of hockey. The little black thing is called a puck. |

Not much being said about trades right now
Boston would trade Seguin to get Tampa's 3rd pick if that happens to be Drouin...and Boston seem to want to get Lecavalier.
Not sure why everyone thinks Buffalo is planning to hit the dirt, when they should be looking to re-tool.
Earlier in the week everyone had Philly looking at Miller, but my pals came up with an interesting proposition:
Letang, Fleury, and Morrow for Miller and Sekera
Nothing on Vanek
Lot of talk that Heatly might be had for a 4th pick and Leino.....anyone interested?
Stafford might be in play to move the team up in the draft;
Florida will listen about trading #2 pick overall if Buffalo is willing to part with Ennis and especially if Colorado takes a forward 1st......do we want Seth?
Lots to think about...it is exciting.

RUMOR TIME
According to local Fox station in Boston (not sure how credible this is) Bruins and Flames are discussing this deal: Seguin for the #6 overall and Johnny Gaudreau
should be noted this exact deal was speculated on by a local radio guy here in Calgary earlier today, so maybe some confusion here? |

Seguin will be 1st line center very soon. Only reason he wasn't was
Because he's on the deepest team (of forwards) in the league,
Who just went to the cup finals. So much so that he was playing
Wing -not even center, his natural position. He is hot sh!t and
Will get better and better. To be top 6 and top 4 D on TB is
not in the same ballpark. Not to say those aren't good players but come on, you sound Like a leaf fan overvaluing your own. 'top 4 D' only means
Something if the team has good D. |
