hhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahah you are nuts! 2 top 6 players and a top 4 dman for a 2nd line center? no way dude.
the most i would offer would be our 2nd rounder 33rd overall, connolly or purcell, and malone.
you can throw in krug too - boltsfan48

I'm hearing Horton wants to hopefully move to NY or LA... so his wife can start modelling again.
Her parents have sold the family home and are waiting to see where Nathan ends up to follow the kids there!!!

If that's true...huh. The Kings can't take the cap hit he'd require. Anaheim could in theory, but they locked up Corey Perry and Teemu Selanne hasn't retired...
The Rangers could've done it if they'd CBO'd Brad Richards, but they didn't...the Islanders...huh. Damn. They could actually do something with Nathan Horton, if they wanted.
Interesting, if true.

Well, that pretty much answers a big question from three years ago:
Tyler Seguin is now rumoured trade bait while Taylor Hall is absolutely untouchable and a front-runner to get the "C".
(yeah, yeah, two different teams I know, but the point is that EDM chose the right guy) |

Connolly and Gudas have yet to prove they can sustain long term success in the NHL, and the 3rd overall pick is just a prospect who may or may not pan out |

Absolutely not. The third pick is huge this year. The deal I've stated is sadly all you'd get fir Seguin. Anthony more is a huge overpayment |

i dunno man. seguin is much more than a 2nd line center. he just happens to be playing on the team with maybe the best center depth in the game.
he was just drafted 2nd overall a couple years ago and is only 21.
his potential is star 1 center for sure.
.
it seems like the next guy is always more desirable. dont think we could say anyone outside of mackinnon projects to be better without question.
3rd and connolly isnt completely out to lunch imo |

That would be really interesting -- man. That'd open up some interesting forward combos for the Islanders, would make them a really interesting team to watch.

I just think that's what it would take for Tampa to get Seguin. Probably an overpayment but Seguin can be a legit scorer in the NHL especially alongside Stamkos. |

Oh yeah, well my cousin, has a buddy who used to work for this guy who moved on to be a major executive with Pepsi. Anyway, one of his regional managers told him his delivery guy in Boston was loading the machines at TD Garden and he said hi to Horton, and gave him a Diet Pepsi. Horton then told him he wanted to go back to Florida. So ,yeah. |

Quite the contrary to what @Eklund is saying, Bruins cannot afford to take on Lecavalier. He's going to command north of $5.5 mil

Not yet, but if we moved eberle and prv i think ovechkin would pretty much replace both of those roles. J schultz is from calgary and hes a big d man which we could use. I wouldnt say this is the deal the oilers are looking at obviously but its pretty much the only deal i would want from Washington. I wouldnt give up much for anyone else on that roster. I like Alzner but im not sure id sell our stars for him either. |
