I believe when using abbreviations like NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, etc you use "an" not "a"
It might not matter. Like "A CFL team" sounds better than "An CFL team"

It's the sound, not the actual letter. So N sounds like 'en' and M sound like 'em', so in all sports leagues it would be 'an'. The CFL one doesn't have a vowel sound at the beginning so it would be 'a'.

there will be a mixture. They will have guys like Ott, Porter, Kaleta, maybe a Briere or Cullen up front. The difference will be the kids will get the big minutes to try and develop and the vets will be in supporting roles

Every good team has to take steps backwards. Chicago, Pittsburgh, LA all did it and were better off for it. The Islanders are on the cusp of it.

The problem is so many of this fan base dont understand that, yourself included.

Were all desperate for a winner, and I understand that. But this group wasnt doing it, and you damn sure cant rebuild a team in a year. The league just isnt like that anymore.

You have to take a step backwards to make that leap forward. Its time for the Sabres to do that.

And if it hurts for you to watch it, then Id recommend not watching next year because I dont see it being pretty. Even this year was too pretty for my liking

Darcy has tried remaking this team 3 times now and has failed all 3 times, why should this be any different. It's been proven by Darcy himself that he can't do it.
