I'm probably in the minority here, but I want Miller and Vanek to stay - gotta keep your good players. I want this team to be better, not worse. For that matter, why exactly did we deal Pominville ? Keep Miller and Vanek, and draft 8th and 16th. Play the 8th and 16th pick from day one, along with McNabb, Grigs, Girgs, and Armia next season and let them grow.

Usually elite goalies aren't traded in their early 20s in order to keep a 30+ year old goalie on a horrible contract.

I think it was Pommers time to go. Plus, if they didn't deal him, we wouldn't have the 16th to play around with. I'd definitely say you're one of the few who want to keep Miller and Vanek, but there's nothing wrong with being a minority lol.

you clearly havent been paying attention the last year. you cant possibly be assuming any schneider rumours are a reflection of what the nucks think about him can you?

have you heard of roberto luongo? you know the guy theyve been trying to move for a year because of schneider, but cant. and are maybe looking at the other options instead of being forced into a buyout.

you also know that because of lu's ugly contract, schneider's value is WAY higher? which might be the prudent move to make instead of just giving up the other elite golie for essentially nothing/
it's called maximizing your assets.

Go back to neverland edm blogs where you guys will be signing letang, lecavalier, and bryz.. and trade for ryan, stamkos, and malkin I'm sure.

Sometimes u have to get worse to get better
It's doubtful that Miller &/or Vanek will re-sign here, so we should move them now and get back picks & prospects
And since we will have a hard time gettin top free agents to sign here, the best way for us to build a winner is through the draft
If we trade them,
We will prob suck for the next two years, but we'll also get to draft very high and get a couple of great players

I hope at least Stafford is gone tomorrow but his 4 million dollar contract isn't going to be easy to move either. All these overpaid, underachieving players Darcy signed should be at the top of the list of what Darcy "has done wrong."

Best hope IMO is that he can have a bounceback year and we can move him at the deadline for something decent

Last year was a lot of under achieving players... I dont think they can make it offensively for sure...
