I think it's deep to the top 20, but there is still a decent drop-off around 10.

I understand, but your NOT going to get into the top 4 with that package. Nashville isnt doing it, and neither are the other 3 teams ahead of us.

The closest thing Nashville has ever had to legit franchise center is having Peter Forsberg as a deadline acquisition. There not going to risk giving up the chance to have a franchise guy for the next 10 years on picking up a potential UFA and dropping in the draft. David Poile isnt that dumb.

And its a dumb move for Buffalo too. Vanek alone gets you at least 1 young good player and a 1st round pick. Why throw that value away to move up 4 spots.

just about everything involving this team worries me right now. they need to do some good work in the coming weeks.

That isn't happening in 90% of the mocks I read.

I think Nurse is there at 7 and hopefully that's where he goes. I think there is a better chance that only 1 D is off the board at 8 than 3 are. If I'm wrong so be it, just what I think and what I have read.

Regier is a terrible GM he will never be able to trade them both....too busy trying to trade stafford.....

Im not surprised. Im not in any huge hurry to move him. Im sure theyll get more calls once UFA opens up and teams miss out on other trade candidates like Halak, Luongo, etc

Probably moved mid july for a 2014 1st and a roster player. He probably tried for one in 2013 but nobody wanted to give that pick up.
