That's a good point.. Streit is older, but he has a lot better shot from the point and will prob be a better replacement for Timonen.. I was reading on TSN last night in the comments, people were blasting the Flyers for signing him, and one person said.. why do the Flyers need another Timonen.. um he's not as good as Timonen, but it shows how out of touch some fans are.. i'd love to see him bring what Timo has.

Plus he hasn't played a ton of games for someone his age. He isn't the best signing. But I understand why it was made. We needed a puck moving D-man. We got one. We needed a QB for the 2nd power play. We got one. We, as of now, have 3 stay at home(Coburn, Grossmann, Schenn) and 3 puck movers(Kimmo, Streit, Gus). That's how you balance. But, in ten minutes, we might have 8 puck movers and -14 stay at homes.

If they got the 7th would anybody be upset if they took Nurse & at 11 landed Ristolainen ?

Not sure what I think of this coburn trade as it stands should it actually happen. Im guessing the oilers have soured on paajarvi but the #7 is the kicker in this deal. I'd be pleased with the 7th pick,
who knows maybe paajarvi needs a change of scenery to continue developing.

How is Pajarvi a bust? He is 22 and yes he went to the AHL 2 years ago but he has a decent season last year. Could just use a change of scenery. Or could be bust....
