I edited to include that you have to be concerned not to insult a potential trading partner. If they believe you to have serious interest, maybe something could get done. Make ridiculous first offers and you may lose them entirely.

I think Gagner is a large step down from what Shcenn and Coots will be

Schenn will never develop into a second line center for a playoff team, he could play wing though. Don't like his vison, plays with his head down.

I for one would love to see Mez, Grossaman and Coburn dealt this weekend....nothing against those guys as players but we need to get the cap number down on our d corp....were probably not going to contend next year so ship em all out and lets figure it out with youngsters

I'm really hoping if these Oilers rumors come to fruition and we somehow end up with the 7th overall pick, that the Nurse talk is all just a smokescreen. One can hope.
