Coburn is a lot just to trade up 4 or 5 slots in the draft. They will still get a potentially great player at 11. - TPC
Nikita Zadorov is a beast and he will probably be there for him, or - dare I say it - Max Domi, who I think would fit into the Flyers style of play quite smoothly. |

I still think its dumb for the Flyers to trade Coburn. He is a top 4 dman on almost every club in the league. I thought the Flyers needed help on D, why would they trade an established vet in his prime? - TPC
i hear you dude
i just think they are still in a semi-rebuild. coburn's value will never be higher.
not saying i want him traded, but i can see the reasoning behind it if it happens |

Im afraid that Girardi's value couldnt get any higher than it is now, like Coburn, I just dont know if Girardi will be able to keep it going under a new coach and system. |

2 things...
1. Nothing, they will draft with the picks they have and thats it.
2. They make a huge trade for a top 10 pick, thats it. |

either nothing or they make a trade with carolina or unload a guy like pyatt or asahm or powe for a 6th or 7th rounder. |

I am in no way worried another team will pilfer one of Step or McD with an offer sheet. Setting aside the cap space we have right now, $14.155MM, we are allowed to go over the cap by 10% during the summer before becoming cap compliant ahead of the start of the season. That means another $6.4MM available. I can't imagine any team in the NHL seriously considering lobbing a max offer sheet worth $12MM+ in annual compensation (20% of the cap ceiling for the upcoming season) over seven years for Stepan or McD. Anything less and the Rangers can match. No one is going to screw us, trust me. If a team wants to get silly, i.e. Calgary with O'Reilly, then the Rangers will take the compensation and use the acquired draft capital to improve next year's club. I have no worries at all. |

Yea I am not worried at all about McDonagh or Stepan...but maybe Hagelin. I don't think he is the priority over the other 2. Rangers might wait a bit on his deal. |

Part of me wants to go out on a limb and make a bold prediction....Vinny signs with the Rangers. Richards will convince him to come |

He wont make this team any better than it is now. Unless he wants to play LW on the cheap. |

Interesting rumors about Seguin being available and Dallas, TB and Columbus being interested. Being fueled by Seguin's sister who tweeted something to the effect of being sad and Boston being home. Interesting. |
