we've wanted alzner since the 08 draft. it's been too long... and although hes finally made it, my hard on has dwindled over the yrs. an alzner Carlson pairing looks sexy but it hasn't done much for wash.

carlson is undoubtedly better offensively and more of a true two way guy, but i think he stumbled abit this year. i was the same as you except for carlsom the last couple years. but my hard on for him has dwindled abit

probably , but he and hemsky want to play together... so there's that... and yes I wld keep hemsky around if jagr came, but he is old and looks it, not scoring in the playoffs was kinda scary to me.
