I have one final thing to say about this rediculous Sidney Crosby argument. A lot of hockey fans are the most immature sports fans in all of sport! When you watch a hockey game that features Crosby and the Pens, how can you enjoy the game with all the hatred you idiots feel for him? - LunaticFringe
Schadenfreude. It's fun watching Crysby go to the ref after EVERY SINGLE WHISTLE and complain about something. His tears are delicious.
His diving is well documented. He'll throw the same cheapshots that he takes, but then want a penalty on the other guy and a team mate to jump in and protect him.
And, as a Blues fan, I hate the dead things... but Crysby not shaking Lidstrom hand after the cup final was just a punk move. You want to be one of the all-time greats, respect one of the all-time greats. |

Either Dale Tallon is being super quiet, or someone here is going to have to invite me to be a fan of their team next season... any takers? |

Nope.
A team that will be called "The Metros" will be jokingly called "Metrosexual" and having a huge phallic like logo is just a bad idea..........

No.....the question is - would you rather have Letang at his price or Shattenkirk at his? If we are talking simply which player would you take if price wasn't taken into account, then Letang wins. So while I agree with your other comments, the issue is relative.......which guy would you take at the price paid? - GSimp1
Too many variables here...If I have the cap room I take Letang every time, if I already have a Letang and need a second pairing guy with only 4 mil to spend I take Shattenkirk. |

By the way, I predicted this yesterday but it still hurts:
Feaster said he will have interest in Lecavalier. Earlier he's said that he won't pursue "post-apex" players but according to him, Vinny "transcends post-apex". I don't know whether to laugh or cry. - S Kaspar Rollins
Lecavalier's apex was 10 years ago . |

You're probably just gonna say my response is ridiculous and it doesn't matter no excuse but I'll give you a chance to respond with some maturity....
Crosby is the face of franchise, the NHL markets the crap out of him, he is interviewed and chased like no other, when he wins the Stanley Cup he is chased down for immediate interviews... now you can say he should know better... but really you're not in his situation, I'm sure for him its downright crazy at the time and he always obliges for interviews.. I don't think he knew what was going on being it was his first cup. You can't say that he had the disdain to ignore Lidstrom.... all it is a ridiculous grudge for the haters.... are you included in this? |

I don't like the idea of one team being called the Jets and another the Pilots. How about the Seattle Totems. A nice ties in to the native culture around the area. Seattle Salmon sounds nice too. |

The Mascots don't always match the team name. The Flames have a dog. The Ample Leafs have a Polar Bear. The Habs have an old Baseball Mascot... |

Letang to the Sharks? Not a chance! First of all, we don't have the assets that Pitt is believed to be looking for in return, and we also don't have the cap room unless one of the players going to Pitt is Thornton or Marleau which is incredibly unlikely.
I could see Iggy in a Sharks sweater next season though. |

I think Suter and Subban were the right two to battle it out. Subban won only by a slight edge. I think Suter is better in his zone, but compared to Letang or Karlsson, Subban is also very good in his zone. Subban being a good skater makes high risk plays, but his rewards are point.
If Suter would have won instead of Subban, I would have understood it. I'm glad a Habs finally won a recognise award though.
It is going to be expensive come next year - l3ig_l2ecl
Hopefully you guys can talk him into some sort of a discount
When I see guys like letang subban in the running I can appreciate their great years offensively but when I think top D men I see chara Keith seabrook doughty weber
Then the up and coming guys like karlson subban letang AP voynov McDonough etc |

Chased down for interviews? You shake hands before you leave the ice. There aren't reporters instantly coming out and taking up all your time. This isn't basketball or football. Your blind excuse is ignorant of what actually happens after the last game of a playoff series, and of the actual events that happened. You want to believe people not liking Crysby is out of jealousy, but you are the one have a knee-jerk reaction to defend him when multiple reasons for dislike are being pointed out. |

Lundstrom is like fifth on the Blues goalie depth chart, and not expect to even transition to North America for a couple years. And I'm not sure how someone expected to be a backup goalie someday can be that over rated.
By the way, his first name is spelled with an A. Nicklas Lundstrom. |
