XM's been playing the audio of that goal all day. Klima played two shifts in a 3 OT game and scores the winner.

Yep, Edmonton vs the Bruins. Klima was lazy on a back check and he got benched for 6 periods

I miss Gene Hart. I watch the old clips every so often...I love him losing his mind when Clarke scored the OT winner in game two in 1974.

he truly was one of a kind!!

I used to love one of his phrases, "passing the puck with much alacrity"

and during a fast moving power play against Boston Middleton to Milbury was referred to as "Middlebury"

He was perfect for the area, helped teach us the game and was just as excited and happy when they won as the fans were.

Yes, he was completely genuine!!

"Hart on hockey" on the local radio, (WIP I believe?) when they first started talking sports.

And when the team was playing poorly on occasion, you would hear it in his voice during play by play, he was a fan as well just as you mentioned

Something the Flyers will not have to worry about with respect to Fleury as he is as likely to become a Flyer as I am to become a Pens fan

That trade is a ridiculous underpayment but I would still be angry if it happened. Give up Brayden Schenn for 1 year of Letang, AKA just a forward playing defense. Talk about stupid.

It wouldn't be one year of Letang. Assuming it's not total BS, there's no way the Flyers agree to a trade of that magnitude unless they get an extension worked out before signing off on it.

Agreed, that blog took the very small amount of credibility I was hoping he had away. Bu that is what the site is about- fantasy and discussion. Its entertainment not news.

Yup, you speak the truth there.

They'll probably get shutout with 2 singles tomorrow.
