I can't speak for the front office obviously, but I for one am not super interested. It's not that Bolland doesn't have value, but looking at the long list of Sabres needs, I don't think he fills one of them. Giving up young assets (which we need) for a guy who would be growing into a 2nd line role on this team just doesn't seem wise.

Toronto on the other hand I could see.

If Hodgson isn't signed and ends up being traded Bolland wouldn't be a bad idea, or Ennis for that matter being traded that is. I read that Hodgsons dad was none too pleased when the Sabres drafted Grigorenko and Girgenson. Maybe he feels like he isn't in the Sabres long term plans...who know.

If one of those guys gets moved I wouldn't mind seeing a true shut down line of Ott Bolland and maybe Foligno. It would be a tough line to play against. Hell even Tropp there instead of Foligno if you want to give Foligno a shot at the top 6

I dont think it would take too much. I see it as Chicago almost needs to trade him to give them some room. If they ask to much, he stays and eats valuable cap space this season.

Forgot to mention I think hes exactly what we need during a rebuild. Solid cup winning veteran center that can handle tough minutes and allow our younger guys to develop.

He is one of those guys that kills your team when you are playing against but you generally root for because of the type of guy he is. Heatley on the other side is a cocky arrogant clown. I could make a poor joke about his driving skills but that's old news

I also liked how he picked Pommer even his little speech about how he embarrassed him makes me respect him more

I would imagine he should be in the 3.25-4M range on a 2-4 year deal.
