Kadri has the 2nd line center spot on lockdown. He has good chemistry with Lupul, not enough experience to play top line center and not good enough defensively to play 3rd line center.

Toews will get there Kessel isn't expected to be like Toews though.. And thats why I Letang has more value than Kessel overall, because his all around game is to a higher standard. If it was between Toews and Letang, I'd pick Toews. This is all getting pretty blurred now..

Literally not one person in hockey believes Franson is a better defender than Phaneuf except for knee-jerk fans who didn't understand the difference between 1st and 3rd pairing defensemen.

It's a lot easier to play defense against Joe Nobody on the opponent's bottom six than Sidney Crosby.

Okay okay. But if Kessel were to line up with say, Stastny, I don't think his overall game would be better than it was with Bozak. Offensively, sure, but not overall. Only time will tell! Not hating on Kessel, he's a great goal scoring talent!
