unfortunately i think this may be the case.

although ek says he wants a 1 year deal. while I don't trust anything he says, it makes me wonder what kind of grit and integrity you get from a guy on a 1 year deal (because he wants to go back to tampa?)

Not being a Richard. Serious question because I don't pay much attention to his defensive side.

Is he solid defensively? That you could rely on him to shut down other teams top guys night in and night out?

obviously pitt has problems doing so because it wasn't their offense that was the problem.

I just think we need more help in the defensive defenseman area and if ur gonna give someone 8 mil he better be able to shut down

5 days from now, it will all be over.
