Well.. I live in Red Deer and im from Ontario.. One thing i can say for certain is that Alberta as a whole is an awful place to live. The people out here are far to concerned with working, oil runs EVERYTHING. Sure theres money, but at what cost? Albertans are by far the stupidest and most arrogant Canadians. Where have you been? Ive been to every province and lived in half of them. Check yo self before you wreck yo self fool.

Well i grew up in Sherwood Park, a community north of edmonton and have traveled to many provinces, having stayed for 5 plus days in every single major canadian city. I've been to almost every continent and see the majority of Asia. Quality of life is incredible here. You're so incredibly closed minded and ignorant, I feel sorry for you. I'd go into how the hardworking Albertan people are THE ONLY REASON eastern canada has post secondary education for cost that they do is because of US. That is Inarguable. But that would probably be too hard for you to comprehend.

Edmonton is a great place to live. It might not be flashy, it might be cold for 6 months, but it sure as hell doesnt deserve to be called Deadmonton.

Vancouver is an awesome place to live.. Edmonton is a poophole..

You don't know what the (frank) you're talking about. I grew up in Edmonton, and have lived in the Lower Mainland (Vancouver Metro Area) for the past seven years. While it is very nice here, Edmonton gets a bad rap for no reason. Edmonton is a great place to live, despite the cold winter temperatures. I'm willing to bet that you're basing your opinions on the crap that you've heard on the internet over the past few years, and you've probably never spent any time in Edmonton.
