I went 2 years ago, and hated it. Maybe they changed it but the year I was there rather then having the TSN coverage on the tv's, the had the WGR coverage. They would go 3-4 picks without even telling us as they were talking to rob ray or someone. I remember only seeing 1st, 2nd, and Winnipeg's pick (first after the move). If they didnt change it, enjoy the "experts" like paul hamilton and jeremy white.

But seriously... How could Letang deny 8 years at 56 million (7 mil per)??? I highly doubt ANY team would give him more than 8 million per, and it'd be a terrible team that would do so. That's just stupidity.

Why, you must not want a franchise goalie? Kid is 17, he started in the QMJHL as a 16 year old. Already has 111wins, and a memorial cup.

You don't draft goalie's in the 1st round unless they are a sure fire thing. He isn't a sure fire thing. If he's there in the 2nd, take a shot at him. No need to waste a 1st rounder on a goaltender.

Seems the big ticket guys are holding out to see what happens draft day. With all the moves expected, I would want to know what my team would look like before i w ould commit.

The pieces that have the potential of being moved aren't going to affect Pittsburgh. They did fine without them during the regular season... Watch, he's going to get 8 years 60 million from someone like TB/CGY and he'll accept.

I know there's a .1% chance this happens but if this sabres acquire and sign him to 8 mil per I'm making this my location

Homer (on occasion) will get you around third and her panties will be off. He just can't close the deal. I suppose that's more exciting than Darcy. Still disappointing.

I didn't mind the Goat either, but there was just something about the red jersey that made it really nice. The only thing I'd change about it would be the gray stripe at the bottom. It'd probably look better black or red like the rest of the jersey.

It's that time of year again, and the Buffalo Sabres will be hosting an NHL Draft Party on Sunday, June 30 at First Niagara Center to celebrate it. All the fun, anticipation and excitement will get underway at 2 p.m. Fans will be able to watch live coverage of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft while enjoying a day of family-friendly entertainment at the arena.

Coverage of the draft will be shown on the high-definition video board beginning at 3 p.m. Broadcast personalities from the Sabres and WGR 550 will be on hand throughout the draft to provide expert analysis and exclusive interviews live from the Prudential Center in Newark, N. J.

In addition to the draft coverage, the night will feature player appearances, floor hockey events on the arena floor, Sabres locker room tours and other activities for the whole family. Fans are reminded that children 12 years of age and younger will be required to wear a helmet if they want to participate in the floor hockey events.

Additionally, concessions will be available throughout the night at family-friendly prices.

Admission to the draft party is free and the team is also offering complimentary parking in the arena ramp.

Fans unable to attend the draft party festivities at First Niagara Center can follow all of the Sabres draft coverage on Sabres.com and with the official Buffalo Sabres mobile app.
