I don't where this unbalanced team is coming from...you have to believe Kreider will play better Miller will be able to play better, Richards wills better, Hags and Cally won't be playing with Torn labrums, possibly a healthy Ryane Clowe, ohh yeah and we will have Marc Staal back. Remember this team lost 3 close games to the Bruins who went to the Cup final.

I agree. This is a good team and will only be better as it gets healthy. A new coach may spark some offense. Though I do not agree on not buying Richards out. It simply must be done for the cap room.

I'm probably in the minority, and I'm an outsider, but I actually think this is a good move. I think Richards was poorly suited for the style you guys played last year, and he has a good shot at reviving himself under AV.

I believe that Sather, Gorton and whoever would have not kept Richards if they really thought they were going to lose one of these 2. I am 100% positive both will be in a Rangers uniform long term. Everyone needs to chill out Yo.

I think this decision rivals picking Hugh Jessiman on the Sather era poop-o-meter, I really do.

We want him gone because of the contract, not because hes gonna suck next year. I think he will be fine next year, matter of fact, I wouldnt put it passed him to put up 70+ points. However, he still needs to be bought out regardless of that fact.

How about that fact that we were one of the hottest teams down the stretch this past season and ran into a very hot Boston team that blew a all star Penguins team out of the water. I like this team with the addition of Brassard, Dorsett, and maybe we can still fit Clowe in. I think Richards will be much better than last season and a healthy Marc Staal. I am telling you we aren't that far off as many of you are making us out to be. Just saying.
