The fact of the matter is the new york rangers are no closer to winning a stanley cup then the leafs or the oilers.

How did you make out in the playoffs that year? Only 1 team wins in the end.

i'd like to argue that we are a hell of a lot closer. you guys have no proven goaltending, the softest "star" in the league, and a defense that makes philly's blueline look elite.

seems to be the exact type of player that always tells the islanders to go F themselves when they offer them twice as much money than the team they sign for.

Did a team ever lose a game 7 up 4 to 1 with 10 minutes left in the game?

Yes a team has done that

don't be surprised when toronto signs the rangers' sloppy seconds in brad richards after we buy him out. i hear you guys are still interested even after he shunned you guys and took a paycut to come to a contender.

The Toronto Maple Leafs: A team that makes the playoffs for the first time in God knows how long and their GM admits they are willing to trade anyone on their roster. Makes sense

a pick or prospect probably. i think i read that they want to move him to free cap space since they can't buyout heatley this offseason.

I would move a pick and a prospect for him in a heartbeat. Exactly what this team needs

I finally understand why the leafs trade for Bernier. Reimer has to be the scapegoat for this failure in leafs history.
