the oilers should get all of them this is a good oporuity to improve the team so sign leavalier for 3 mil - he will take a discount to play with an up-and-comer perennial contender (we RNH, Hall, etc) and he is already gettin paid by TBL for the buyout and then sign briere for 3 mil too, he iwll take a discount to play with lecavalier and hall and especially RNH...... jagr is a good veteran but he isnt like he used to be so we can probably sign him for 2 mil or 2.5.... he would be good for the yougnsters

another good idea would be to sign richards and reunite him with lecavalier bcuz nyr will buy him out. 4 mil might do the trick

as for gardiner yeah we can trade gagner for him, even if its just 1for 1 and the leafs dont add kulemin (he sux anyways) because we will have lecavalier

Wanna go the 1A-1B road and see which of Bernier or Reimer stands out.

I have a feeling that the loss Reimer suffered against Boston may have a big influence on his play moving forward. And not in a positive way imho.

- Pecafan Fan

i think the Bernier trade is Nonis saying that he doesn't think James Reimer is a good goalie, and that he was desperate to find something better. first the Luongo flirtation, now this. i would fully expect Reimer to be dealt this offseason. no GM other than Mike Gillis cuts the balls off his starting goalie and then hangs onto him.

That's something I would never do with my #1 goalie. And yup, Reimer won't be there next year.
