Congrats guys looks like you have a legitimate chance of finally getting that overrated french center of your dreams

Oh please, please tell us more, guy whose team:

- Trades Carter & Richards after they brought the Flyers within 2 wins of the Cup, only to see them win it for LA;
- Trades Bobrovsky to Columbus to make room for Bryzgalov (more on that in a second), only to have him win the Vezina there;
- Buys out Bryzgalov two years into the massive deal they unloaded Carter, Richards, and Bobrovsky to get him.

Enjoy your horrendous defense, AHL goaltending, and the Modern Day Mike Milbury you call a GM.

So he wants $7.75M per huh?
- muffin_man

The fact that he turned off that 8-year deal makes him a douche, or just a guy who doesn't care about the Pens anymore. Let's keep building around Subban and let Toronto/Winnipeg/Detroit/Calgary give him what he wants.

I still have that feeling about Lecavalier.

For 2 ex-super-regulars on here, I find our timing pretty weird today, lapin.

Agreed.
As for Vinny, no problem but 3 years max. So he'll probably get more elsewhere...

I think he will choose the destination vs. the money.
And he will choose the Panthers or Predators.

Oh, Blues would be a good fit

True, but I could see TOR give him more money and more years than anyone else. They need a 1st center and have plenty of $$$.

Unless he really wants the money, I don't see him in Toronto.

Of course, he would look better in Mtl
but what if Habs offer him 12M for 3 years and Leafs 25M for 5 years?

I don't really see him with either (I could be way off) but here are the 5 teams he's most likely to sign with IMO:

Panthers
Stars
Jets
Preds
Flames

Most underrated player in the draft by a mile = Mackenzie Weegar!

He's signing in Phoenix. Now that he has his money he can sign a cheap deal and finally continue his mission of bringing the Cup to every Southern franchise in the NHL.
