As far as I'm concerned, Eller is the Canadiens' best center. He's just scratching the surface of what he can be, and I'd love to see him get first or second line minutes. - oniremosewa
This.
Let the young man play on the powerplay and he'll put up numbers, I'm sure of it. |

What's the point in speculating?
Maybe there's an organization out there who is scouting for raw hockey talent on this website and will discover my immense talent and offer me a job!!
No, because it's fun and interesting to see what people think about a given scenario. I don't think it's an option, if it were, I think it'd be done (the trade with Dallas especially) but maybe someone has insight or an opinion that I haven't considered, so I post and see what people have to say about it. - kev1586
To be honest..I don't think it wise to trade two top three centers. Keep one unload the other. Galchenyuk still has to prove himself. Desharnais or pleks would be better insulated behind lecavalier in the lineup. And WHEN lecavalier gets hurt you don't have a huge hole with nobody able to spot |

I think that this team is better with Bolland as it's 3rd line center.
#27 is our future #1.
We currently have Plek and DD and Lecavalier competing for the remaining 2nd line spot. No more room for Eller - WaterBoy
i think they'd rather buy out DD than trade Eller just to make room though, if thats the issue, plus Pleks is gonna go eventually he's already in his 30s, Galy and Eller can grow together as the 2 centers for this team
worst case scenario its
Galy #1
?? - #2
Eller - #3 |

We have no more buyouts.
And we also don't have Lecavalier.
Edit... where did plek and DD go ?
Hope you know that Plek is ranked 18th center in the last 4 years ?
That makes him a #1 on many teams and if not, a solid #2. |

i know this, i'm just pointing out how much of a non-factor DD is in a debate between keeping Eller vs DD because of a logjam at the position
and doesnt matter if we dont have Lecavalier, Eller for Bolland just doesnt add up with or without him |

You are right. We would probably have to give a pick with Eller to get Bolland |

It's working quite well with Price.
Also, Gaustad fetched a 1st. Bolland > Gaustad. - _nay_

Isn't there still the normal buyout period every year? or did they get rid of that completely? |

Here's my mock draft lads, apparently it's not 'rigorous' enough for the guy that owns the site.

Forget the draft, please give us updates on Danny 'Gretzky' Kristo and Alex 'Ovechkin' Avstin. |

What ? - WaterBoy
Pleks is already in his 30s, the other 2 kids have barely just started their NHL careers, and DD, well it'll all depend on him in the end....my #1-2-3 center positioning was about what this team will look like in a few years.....and no having Bolland in that future will not help, not instead of Eller |
