NJ robbed them
How can you not get more? Especially from a desperate team like NJD??? - muffin_man
67 NHL games. Seems like he could be an excellent goalie, but he's shown less than Halak did. |

I would tend to agree.
Happy for Lou that the 'situation' was dealt with.
Shinkaruk is a heck of a player, most had him going top15.
And Horvat might very well be the next Bergeron.
As for the young Subban, well he's smaller than his brothers, but he's definitely better than PK was at the same age. Doubt he'll have the same crazy exponential development curve, but still, great bloodlines, and lots of offensive potential. |

Same here. I've been ripped for quite awhile for suggesting Schneider would be the goalie moved when it was the only move that really made sense. I wasn't watching the draft but was talking to my brother on the phone when NJ's turn came up. I said I would not be surprised at all if Lou traded the pick. When he said he was going to trade the pick I immediately said for Schneids. Good move for both teams IMO. |

I'm wondering if Toronto's situation will become more like that or end up being a Potvin/Joseph 2.0. |

I don't think Reimer will challenge Bernier that much. |

Anyone can find a link to a site that shows the draft selections made by every team?

Meaning?
James wil be shipped off that soon?
Bernier is the real deal?
Reimer won't challenge him because he's playing lights out and...
Vice versa.
Fill me in on this now Etty.
Thanks...

You finally found people to talk about the draft, but it's Canada Day. You must feel so conflicted. |

I love the pick. Says he patterns his game after Lucic. And he's not even finished growing! |

it was nice that in the draft they had targets. To fill in the needs of the team. Hope this kid pans out. |

I'd have drafted Jordan Subban ahead of Lehkonen, though. |

Time will have to tell for me. I knew nothing of any of the kids drafted outside of Drouin, Jones and Mckinnon. I was shocked when panthers grabbed Barkov
edit: though i knew that shinkaruk was highly regarded by many scouts. |
