classy move

We can say w/e we want about the Devils type of hockey, but they are a classy organization.

Lou flew the whole team last year for Pat Burns' funerals in MTL.

Got some size and hard working guys.

Not impressed or pissed... I guess time will tell.

I'm happy about De La Rose and Fucale.

Fucale should be ready to make the jump When Price's contract ends... should make it interesting.

Well they needed a goalie prospect....good to know they got the best one available.

Fucale should be NHL ready in 3 years. Two in the 'Q and one in the AHL is my guess. By then he should be ready to backup Price.

Indeed. Steph Leroux says he expects the Devils to make Martin start an exhibition game and make Anthony finish it. It would be the first time in the history of the NHL that a father and a son are goaltenders in the same game

Lou is really class. And if Anthony can't make it at hockey he is an awesome golfer.

Yup, definitely the best this crop had to offer in terms of goaltender. Should be the starter for team Canada at the WJC.

3-4 years he should be backup... give him an extra 1-2 years to push for #1. That brings us at the end of Price's contract.

Martin Brodeur said Anthony has his own car so he can drive himself to training camp. Doesn't need his dad to give him a ride.

Montreal, Detroit and Anaheim inquired on Alex Edler. Wings made an offer. Habs may circle back. But nothing close at this point

I would have told you the very same thing. Just like I did for Crisp whom I know nothing of.

Didn't know Nystrom last season either.

Happens this year the Habs have a lot of guys from the 'Q (Fucale, Andrighetto, Réway, Grégoire). The other 3 were high profiles for the draft (DLR, McCarron, Lehkonen).

We won't be as strong next year so it will be a good test for him. If he continues to improve he should be in the A as a 20yr old

That's what I think too. He had a phenomenal rookie campaign, no slumps, unlike Drouin and Mackinnon who took a while to start their engines. This year is another story, but he still won the memorial cup.
