Talk about the guys you'd like to see the Habs draft. The ones you don't want.
If you want the habs to move up for certain players, or drop down if they aren't there.
There is plenty to talk about the draft other than mock drafts. - QuebecPride

I would take Vinny in a heartbeat IF they could trade DD. I would also trade Gionta and sign Briere for a year or 2. Then, I would trade Pleks+Diaz for a #1 Shutdown D to play with Subban.
Pacioretty - Vinny - Briere
Bourque - Eller - Dumont?
Gallagher - Galchenyuk - Prust
Moen - White - Blunden
Subban - Shutdown D
Emelin - Markov
Tinordi - Gorges - Puckers
Sorry, Gabriel Dumont? Was it the no scoring he did that sold you on his top 6 potential? |

I know he's an effective player, but the Habs are pretty tight with the cap, even before signing a guy like Bolland.
His cap hit is what? near 4M? to play on the third line?
I'm not sure he's the guy we want. |

I'll say strong chance Jagr ends up back in Philly.

Hey buddy. - oniremosewa
hey, nice to see you here.
You know, I'm not advocating the habs sign these three players, or any one of them in particular. but as short-term options there's a lot of benefit to signing any one of them.
It's not the same as the Leafs signing Lindros to put his name on their roster.
I'm not suggesting any one of these players would put the habs over the top either. On short-term deals none of them hurt the long-term plan, really, and any one of them can help the development of the young players as well as net an asset at the deadline if the Habs aren't firm in a playoff position. I also think there's going to be a veteran or two moved out of here by Bergevin in the coming days. |

No. The MLS and CFL drafts suck from pick one. |

Trade Desharnais, sign Vinny, trade Gionta, sign Horton. Sign a D with size/grit. Done for the summer. |
