Interesting talk today on 1040 with a guest (can't remember who) saying that Luongo is a shoe in for Socchi and depending on play from October through December might even be the starter. Imagine a situation where the starting goalie for Canada is put on waivers by the Canucks.

Didn't Esplen do a piece where he didn't even have Luongo going to Socchi? I think he rescinded shortly after that though...Luongo is going to be the Brodeur of this Olympics. Play until you falter and then the up and comer plays. Question is who is the up and comer? |

I really like Terasenko—a young guy who is nearly a guarantee to be a top6 F is exactly the type of player they should try to target.
You're gonna have to do better than that...at least put some effort into it
