No - VANTEL
Thought so. IMO best move is to waive him and move on with 5.3 million off of the books and Schneider as your starting goalie. |

Luongo for Letang?
Sounds about right.
Keep the faith, Esplenator.
29 GMs would love to have that contract. - Atomic Wedgie
Might want to read the blog before criticizing.
Luongo and Letang were two separate subjects.
His proposal for Letang was Edler, Schroeder, and a 1st.
....which I wouldn't do in a million years. |

To Colorado: Luongo
To Florida: Booth, Ballard.
To Vancouver: Colorado and Florida 1st round picks. Take MacKinnon and Drouin. - hankthetank
It's just so crazy it might work. |

Looks like Bolland is a lock to stay with Hawks. Asking price is a 1st and 2 2nds. - Bieksa#3
Lets trade Burrows....
Seriously though, Bowman is out of his (frank)ing mind.
Would maybe give up one 2nd for Bolland. Maybe. |

I'm not as high on Schroeder as you and some others here are, but from a pure trade value perspective that's not bad at all. Only problem is the money so it wouldn't work and plus this team can't afford to trade away another first round pick. |

I wouldn't trade Edler for Letang straight up, so Schroeder and the 1st aren't even part of my decision.
I'm not a fan of Letang. |

Why not keep Lu and trade Schneider for a great prospect and a first round pick, that right there makes the organization stronger. Waiving Lu is such a waste, boy they really (frank)ed up with that long contract. |

Asset-wise, I would do that in a hearbeat, but it's tough with the Canucks cap situation. Letang has his defensive lapses like Edler, but at the same or close to the same money I'd take Letang over Edler for sure. |

If they were in the same contract situation I would trade Edler for Letang in a heartbeat. But not the current situation.
As I said earlier. I bet there are 50 d men in this league that could put up over 60 pts per yr with that team. Karlsson would get 90 |
