When I'm talking about top goalies in nhl yes , if schnieder plays 65-70 games next year and is at the top of the league in goalie stats ill come on here and say I was wrong and he is too 5 but until he does that there are guys like Lundquist, quick, Rask , Niemi , broduer, rinne , backstrom , smith , miller who have done that

Brodeur? Backstrom? Miller? Seriously??? I'd take Schneider in a heartbeat over each of them. I'm also still not sold on Smith having consistency for more than a season (or 2) especially if he leaves Phoenix. I would absolutely put Schneider in the same league as Rask. Probably the best comparison available.

Something must be holding up a Luongo trade. How else do you explain him not being traded yet? Bettman has always hated the Canucks, he's probably holding up any trades involving Luongo.

A position player playing a little banged up is a little different than a goalie playing banged up...

In all fairness he did post "a team source" not a source from the Canucks. It could have been the goaltender for his beer league. One of the guys on my team called Dion for Letang +. Book it. C5,
