When they get rid of Letang, they're going to get some okay d-man that's going to look really good playing next to Sid.

I hope they die.. well.. plummet, that's more acceptable. Maybe I'm just bitter. They've done nothing "wrong". They were fortunate to get the picks they did at the time 2 of the top 5 players in the NHL, that would be top 5 players for over a decade... happened to be available at those picks. AND an (arguably) franchise goalie- he at least won a Cup backstopping them, AND Whitney which turned into Kunitz (4.5! steal!), and J Staal... which we already said what he turned into for the Pens. It's great management.. but freak luck due to sucking for years. Maybe I'm bitter because it's like the hockey gods grossly rewarded them for being pathetic. You've been awful! Here's a handful of franchise players for all your hard work!!
but we
did land Larsson.. and were fortunate to get Elias and some other later picks where we did. The trade with Toronto that landed us Niedermayer was huge. Parise just stings. ugh.
