Tangauy has averaged 0.8 ppg since coming back to the flames

Jones has averaged 0.5 ppg in the same time frame

At 29 it's not like Jones is a spring chicken, but they do get tougher so there is that

That may be all well and good, but trading a contract that's less then a million dollars, for a cap hit of 7 million dollars is hard to swallow. If we keep Gardiner, and he progresses like he did in the playoffs, we can allocate the difference into paying for a player like Lecavalier. We could probably pick up Andrew Ference for around 4 million per year, to firm up our 3 - 4 pairing.

I mean not like Letang is old, hmmmmm hate to give up Gardner but............. they'll need someone solid to replace Dion. It's pretty obvious Dion will get dealt b4 next season or he will not be resigned by July1st 2014. So somewhere between now & next summer say bye bye to Dion. Letang is the perfect replacement. Ya fuk if Pitts is adament Gardiner is part of the package fuk it, let em have Gardiner. We'll be better in the long run having Kris over Dion. Hate to sacrifice Jake but u gotta do what u gotta do.

In a defensive sense. Letange is a solid offensive defenseman (in the offensive zone, trying to score goals)
But not as good as Phaneuf defensively. (Preventing goals in the defensive zone.)

Hey Cartman, as Kyle's mom says "what what what????? " Well somehow in game 4, Dion was in a stupid defensive position when he let Krecji skate by him to score the OT winner. Dion was also in a stupid position when he wouldn't touch Chara in game 7 on the game tying goal.

So please explain how Dion is so great at being in defensive situations cause myself & most of Leaf Nation don't see it.
