Is there a rule against a team buying a player out and then resigning him during the FA period to a better contract? cause I could see Lecav resigning in Tampa and I could see Tampa wanting him back for a better cap hit.

If Vinny wants to win, then he has to look at the situation here, as opposed to Montreal. We have allot of dangerous offensive weapons, that the Habs just can't match. Montreal has pretty much graduated their best prospects from the minors, while we still have allot of good pieces, still coming through the system. While the Habs will continue to improve, the Leafs are a team that are coming on quickly and with a couple of key acquisitions, could challenge for top spot in the division.
