In all seriousness, Here is the order of our young defencemen ranked by likelyhood to play in NHL first... May very well see some of these names next season.

I would like to think that if Phaneuf is being shopped Nonis isn't dumb enough to do so without finding a better replacement. Which I would think isn't going to come easy.

I don't have a hard on for Dion by any means, but I cringe at the thought of this D-core minus Phaneuf. Phaneuf for statsny or anything similar hurts this team unless his spot is immediately filled somehow.

Again, I know he makes his mistakes, and timely ones at that. But he does a lot for this D, so the return better be pretty mighty or Bernier/Reimer are going to have a hell of a time.

I would like to think that if Phaneuf is being shopped Nonis isn't dumb enough to do so without finding a better replacement. Which I would think isn't going to come easy.

I don't have a hard on for Dion by any means, but I cringe at the thought of this D-core minus Phaneuf. Phaneuf for statsny or anything similar hurts this team unless his spot is immediately filled somehow.
