I figured he might go between $7 to $8 but wasn't expecting him to get that many years. That puts him in Webber and Doughty territory. I'm shocked the Pens are offering that given the money they already have tied up in other players.

I can't help but think we might have been at least 6-8 points better with another coach. That could of changed a lot of our fortunes. I think if we had played anyone else that round, we likely were in round 2.

They would be in cap hell but it would be with the right players. Crosby/Malkin/Letang. If they are going to spend big bucks at least they are doing it on the leagues best. Not guys like DP, Richards, Bryzgalov, etc.. |
