Well, as I said, there are other factors to consider than points. But you know people will be up his ass if he's playing with Toews and Kane and ends the season w/20 points, regardless what they do.

In my mind, I don't care. I see the value of someone who's in the trenches doing the dirty work. Like Toews in Game 4, phucking stuff up at the top of the crease all game.

If Bicks can pot 10-15 goals, 15-20 assists playing with those guys, tally 120-150 hits, and perhaps they park his fat ass in front of the Goalie on the PP...I think that will be worth his contract.

The problem is that we're going to cry if he's not signed. And likely cry when they overpay. At what point is he 'worth it'?

I do agree there has to be a point whee it isn't worth it and/or you need a cheaper version. But you need some version of this. Last 2 years we didn't have one and that included Bickell. I think he is a different player now. The answer is not Saad. Or Sharp. Or Stalberg. So we better have a plan B. A guy like Bickell is the type who could put Edmonton on a rapid pace to compete. They also don't have this type of player and tons of skill. This is where the big contract could come from.

Yeah too amazing. I still think Tallon would get A lot of crap for that, though. Especially if it is bjugstad. Shore, Matthias, and #2 would really set us up for awhile added to the main core

Leddy HAS TO BE SIGNED before he can be traded to get full value.

Was just on with Block.... and he mentioned the Avs are going to pass on Jones...a Ledddy offer sheet could be in their wheelhouse, they need dmen as do others.

Ferrence is too expensive for the Hawks and will garner a ton of interest from around the league.

From a cap standpoint trading Leddy, a potential $3 mill player, for another of the same value accomplishes nothing....Same issue signing Bickell in that case.

From 30,000 ft away if Tallon backs into Seth Jones. and it appears so...Tallon takes Jones and says Thanks.
