All I am gonna say is that IF ANY OF you regulars have insulted me by NOT spending at least an hour at

http://www.draftsite.com/nhl/mock-draft/2013/

to see all I have profiled there, I am insulted!

I would love for you to read the DRAFT TIERS article at the top of the NHL page.

...then go look at some of the RE-Drafts I have done.
You will find that some drafts do not yield and entire draft of NHL players, while others yield almost THREE rounds of players.

This one is strong in the top three tiers, and the 4th TIER is extremely thick with players who need to get there but have big time parts.
Just comparing to last year which we all agreed had a thick third tier (in the laste first and second) the THIRD tier this year is not only thicker, it doesn't start until the third round!!!!!!! That is because ALL the TIERS are THICK!
Unheard of.

...so the talk about Not as good as we thought are being spewed by posers. Whomever stated that write theri name down and discount all their new opinions

Guys that in most years are destined to be picked in the start of the middle of round one FILL slots all the way to the MIDDLE of the second round, and the amount of really solid "not finished guys almost extends to the edn of the draft.
I have over 500 possibles and obly 211 spots...this HAS NEVER happened.
It is all about this birth year and the undrafted 2nd & 3rd yr. eligibles being very attract long term guys who can also make rosters...

CC's a goner after next season. There's no way they're going to pay him what other teams will pony up.

At this point, Stanton isn't any better than a 6-7 defenseman. Probably the same for Olsen. I still think Clendening is a year away, if the idea is not to rush him. As for Johns, I don't know. I think it's safe to say Fournier is a topic of discussion for two to three seasons from now.

Another kid down in Rockford I like is Dahlbeck. That kid loves to block shots, and seems to be pretty steady in his own end, and can bring some physical play to the table. I don't think he'll do anything offensively, but he could be someone that could be in the mix on the blueline corps in the near future.

I love Bolland. Good soldier who willing to give it his all. However, he's injury prone and his salary is not conducive for the Hawks, especially for a 3rd line center. I'd love to see Bolland stay, but at the money he's making, he's become more of a luxury rather than a necessity.
- EKolb13

Honestly, I see him more as a 4th line center who is both injury prone and prone to making stupid penalties at the worst times. Not to belittle his GWG -- it was great -- but even at his peak, he was really nothing more than 3rd line C who was nice to have around in the playoffs, but who's 2C salary kept us from actually ever acquiring a legit 2C.

I am still not 100% sure Monday night really happened- BUT when I land in Chicago with my 5 year old on Friday I am certain it will be a happy reality.

I miss the city more this time around then in 2010

You are missing the point. WHEN?!
- John Jaeckel

Now. They are pretty deep in prospects and without the decimation of injuries.. Would have been in the playoffs again this year IMO. Drouin like Kane... Has the game to bring the average fan out to the rink. I highly doubt Tallon moves that pick.
I guess we will see Sunday.

I'd be the 1st person right behind JJ doing the dance of joy if the hawks could get Big Buff back, but besides us fans and the players, i just don't think management wants him back

Wiz has repeatedly said this years draft is if not THE deepest, then one of the deepest he has seen in a long LONG time...Wiz knows his stuff, So i will take his word for it....he had some nice tweets yesterday too
- captainserious

oh my gosh!

someone read my tweets?

I just FOUND that Twiiter account.
had no clue I had it as the Twiiter actually took my orginal name and gave it to some singer rapper Wizkalifah or sone nonhockey boy loser, so...

My original tweets were ain October about how Huet could win a Cup unless they found a goalie to take a huge part of the laod, and didn't know if Neimi was that guy.

I jsut didn't do any b/c I type so crappy and thought "who is gonna read my dumb opinions anyway..."

hey thanks for being the one person.

can I send you some $ or old Hawk memorabiliia as a bride for doing so?

Funny thing is Bickell played the series with the same injury Jay Quitler had when he sallyed out in the NFC championship game.

Darth mentioned something about that yesterday. He was pretty much gone when Raanta was given a contract.
- EKolb13

Figured he was done with the Hogs, wasnt sure if he was going to compete for the backup job next year to back up CC. 7th rounder stopgap trade, nothing really lost

Very unfair.

We have no idea of the seriousness of either - football has different stresses on ligaments than hockey - never question anyone else's injuries, never know what's really involved.

You are great! I wouldn't mind reading more of your tweets, hopefully you will be in full force during the draft..if not,I assume you will have a draft review some time next week at the website or here maybe? If not for all teams, then at least for the Blackhawks?

I think they should keep him. If they didn't want him they should have dealt him when he still had some value. Sometimes PF's take more time to develop, they kept him this long, might as well see if he's a late bloomer. Nothing to lose.
- Ogilthorpe2

Maybe he'll take a low contract and turn into another Bickell after a year or two with the big club.

I dont think it's unfair. RG3 played on one leg, if cutler can sit on the sideline and ride the bike, he could wear a brace and some tape and sack up.

In Miami? Has anyone there heard of Jones and / or Drouin?

These aren't hard-core hockey fans down there - and all the other teams in the city need to be championship ready to draw.

Tallon needs a winner now.

- StLBravesFan

They don't hear of anyone. And they won their division last year. Injuries killed them this year. They will be competitive. They need a star. My $$ says they keep the pick. Yours is obviously with them dealing it yes?

I think that anything to Florida needs to include Matthias.
- Bjm84

I would take the big kid centre NICK BJUGSTAD, who is far from ready for prime time.

I don't think Tallon is handing the 2nd overall to the hawks.

But I could understand why he would take Drouin...would you try and play both Seth Jones and Erik Gudbranson because that is a whole lot raw you are palying with.

I thought someoen some months ago, told me Erik Gudbranson might be on the market because the Panthers felt he just wasn't getting it quick enough...
