Did you have it completely collapse?

The trick for a puncture is (if you have nothing else), get a piece of sandwhich wrap or a sandwhich bag and picture frame tape it over the hole in your chest.

Leave the bottom part un-taped to allow for drainage.

If you ever get shot in a grocery store or something

The first was a 60% collapse. The Doc said the pain I felt when walking was the lung flapping around in the thoracic cavity. Neat-o!

would you trade Giroux to Nashville for Weber and their first?
- vejim

No, because Giroux is the face of the franchise and our true #1 center.
If we still had Richards, I'd be tempted. And I'm probably the biggest Shea Weber fan in this area.

Actually I would. But we would have to go after the best center in UFA. Maybe even take a chance on Richards.

Oh and let me say i would then give Giroux an offersheet next year... muhahahahaha.

See that kind of stuff intrigues me.

Now throw me into my future maternity practicum, and I will be passed out on the ground in 5 minutes.

Chiarelli announced Ference won't be signed. Flyers should definitely have interest in him.
- PLindbergh31

I would definitely be interested for 3/10.5

It's not like Streit sucks defensively...he has shown in the past, that he can actually play pretty good defense, but his consistency in this area has waned lately...could just be a mental thing, who knows. I think if he get's a strong defensive partner to play with, any defensive shortcoming can be largely mitigated. I'm sure he'll have his "wtf" moments, like any d man, but I'm not expecting a horror show back there.
- exlund

He's no Andy Delmore, that's for sure.

There's still a level of defensive competence, but he's always had problems handling big forwards and he can get turned around by fast forwards.... this past season saw a marked decline in his defensive role and his ability to handle even secondary-level assignments. This may be the new plateau for him, or maybe he recovers a bit here with higher quality d-partners, or he continues to decline w/ age... I guess we won't find out until they actually start to play the games, but the initial outlook is dubious.

I don't think mine was very messy; then again, I do recall my eyes being clenched shut from the pain during the process.

No.
As good as I think Weber is you still need offense. You still need a player that can take over a game offensively. You need someone that can get that goal when its needed.

The 4th overall pick is likely to give you that. If you can then move Coburn and the 11th for the 5th overall pick.....

Hartnell-Richards-Voracek
Schenn-Cuoturier-Simmonds
Read-Barkov-Nichushkin
McGinn-Talbot-Rinaldo

Streit-Weber
Timonen-Schenn
Grossmann-Gustefsson

Yes, but who will Mez be cleared to play with? I don't think it'll be the Flyers.

Oh I totally agree.. im not saying that they arent easy to become dependent upon... they are the most abused drug in the US.. and are frowned upon im my office. We try to keep people away from narcotics as best as possible.

What I was saying, is that just assuming an injured player is on narcotics is a bad assumption. Local anesthetics and non-narcotic pain meds vastly out way narcotic use. Hell, most of the guys that are using narcotics dont even get them from the team.
